East End acquired the properties located at 2-20 and 54-56 Garth Road in Scarsdale, New York with an eye towards including them within a possible transit-oriented re-development of the adjacent commuter parking garage, known as Freightway. The Freightway garage sits on a 2.4 acre site currently under review by the Village of Scarsdale, through a public RFP process, for re-development into a mix of residential apartments, retail and new parking facilities. The two East End properties, if included in the re-development, significantly improve the ingress and egress options to the new site plan, which has been an issue with the current parking operation. East End has partnered with LCOR on the project.
