Vice President - Development

Matthew is responsible for East End’s development and construction activities on the West Coast. He oversees a broad range of matters, with a focus on entitlements, design management, and construction execution. 

Before joining East End, Matthew served as Construction Executive on the $2.2 billion Century Plaza re-development in Los Angeles, which included 1.5 million square feet of mixed-use hotel, condominiums, and retail.  Prior to that, Matthew was a Construction Manager responsible for the day-to-day planning and construction of the $350 million, 40-story, Ten Thousand residential tower in Los Angeles. Matthew has a wide variety of other construction experience, including the ground-up construction of the 46-story Dominick Hotel (formerly Trump SoHo) in New York, the $150 million historic restoration of New York City Hall, and large office and retail tenant improvements throughout the Los Angeles and New York markets.

Matthew holds dual Master and Bachelor of Science degrees from Columbia University in Civil Engineering, with an M.S. degree concentration in Construction Engineering and Management.
